EasyGig Platform Possessor Code of Conduct
Last Updated: October 19th, 2025
This EasyGig Platform Possessor Code of Conduct (the “Code of Conduct”) sets forth the rules and guidelines under which Possessors agree to conduct themselves when using the Platform and forms part of the Terms between Possessors and EasyGig. By using the Platform, you agree to abide by this Code of Conduct. Failure to adhere to this Code of Conduct may result in refusal of service, cancellation of scheduled pickups, and/or termination of Platform access.
Courtesy and Respect
While EasyGig is not involved in the Hauling Services or the interactions between Haulers and Possessors, it is important to EasyGig that its Users treat each other courteously. Treat Haulers with politeness and respect, including by being avoiding threatening and rude behaviors. Harassment, abusive language, or inappropriate conduct toward Haulers will not be tolerated.
Clear Communication
Good communication is essential. Possessors should clearly identify and communicate which items are to be removed (and ensure that those items are consistent with any item descriptions provided when booking the Hauling Services), including by providing photographs of the items where possible and giving Haulers accurate and up-to-date information.
Do not misrepresent the type, quantity, or condition of the items, especially whether they are Prohibited Items (see below). Removal of any additional items not previously disclosed is subject to Hauler discretion and may incur additional charges, which you agree to pay.
Payment
Valid payment information must be provided at the time of booking. By providing your payment information, you authorized EasyGig to process your payment in accordance with the Terms.
Preparation for Pickup
All items to be removed during the Hauling Services must be ready for pickup and removal at the designated date and time. Haulers are not permitted to enter the home or any interior space. Accordingly, to make items ready, place them on the driveway, curb, or other truck-accessible exterior location of your property (which may include garages, provided they are accessible to Haulers and their vehicles). You are responsible for ensuring that the pickup location is safe, accessible, and free from hazards (e.g., blocked driveways, aggressive pets, icy walkways, etc.) and for ensuring the items may lawfully be placed in, and removed by Haulers from, the pickup location.
If the Hauler determines, in their discretion, that the pickup location is unsafe or inaccessible, the Hauler may refuse services. Fees for the Hauling Service may still apply, even where the Hauling Service is refused or cancelled for this reason.
Prohibited Items
Certain items are not eligible for the Hauling Services. Please review the list of Prohibited Items before scheduling pickup to ensure that your items are eligible for the Hauling Services. Do not attempt to dispose of hazardous, illegal, or other Prohibited Items through the Platform.
Cancellations and Other Issues
Unless otherwise expressly stated, Hauling Services may be subject to cancellation fees if cancelled after scheduling, in accordance with EasyGig’s Cancellation Policy. You agree to pay these cancellation fees.
Please contact us if a Hauler does not arrive at the anticipated time. While EasyGig is not liable to you in the event a Hauler fails to arrive, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to try to resolve the issue.
If all of the items you have scheduled for pick-up do not fit in the Hauler’s vehicle, the Hauler may request making two (2) or more trips to haul away all of the items. In such instance, the fees you originally agreed to pay for the Hauling services will separately apply to each trip the Hauler makes. In other words, if you originally agreed to pay the price for one (1) haul and the Hauler needs to make two (2) trips to remove all your items, then you will be charged for two (2) hauls. You will have the option to accept or turn-down any request to make multiple trips to haul away your items.
Platform Use and Privacy
All communications with Haulers must take place exclusively through the Platform. Do not request, solicit, or accept any Hauler’s personal contact information to bypass the Platform, and do not provide your personal information to Haulers for use outside the Platform. Any attempt to circumvent the Platform and the privacy policies and practices of EasyGig may result in suspension or termination of Platform access.
EasyGig has no responsibility to monitor communications on or through the Platform, but reserves the right to do so. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information about EasyGig’s privacy practices.
Non-Interference
Your responsibility is to ensure that all items scheduled for removal are placed in an appropriate pickup location at the scheduled date and time. The actual loading, handling, and removal of such items is the responsibility of the Hauler, and Possessors should not assist unless expressly requested and approved by the Hauler.
Photo Documentation
Haulers may take before and after photos of the pickup location and the items scheduled for removal for service verification and dispute resolution purposes, and you agree and consent to the taking of such photos.
