How EasyGig Pricing Works (and Why It's Fair)

The most common complaint about junk removal isn’t the price itself—it’s that the price changes once a crew is standing in the driveway. EasyGig’s pricing can’t do that. It’s one flat $150 rate per full pickup-truck-bed load, calculated and shown before you ever book, with nothing added on-site.

Why Do Junk Removal Prices Usually Change On-Site?

Most junk removal companies don’t give you a firm number until someone has looked at your junk in person. A “starting at” figure quoted over the phone or online often turns into something higher once a crew sees the actual volume or how far they have to carry things—a pattern widely reported across the industry, where the number that mattered was never really the one you heard first. EasyGig’s model skips that step: there’s no in-person look, so there’s no moment for the price to move.

"How Does EasyGig Decide What I Pay?"

You pay $150 per full truckload, period. There’s no per-item calculation, no per-pound weighing, and no on-the-spot judgment call by whoever shows up. The price you see when you book a pickup is the price you pay when the job’s done.

What Determines the $150 Rate?

The flat rate is built around a fixed, known quantity—a standard pickup truck bed, not a variable estimate. It covers:

  • The truck and the driver’s time
  • The labor to load everything from the curb, driveway, or an easily accessible garage
  • Standard disposal, including dump fees the hauler pays and gets reimbursed for with a receipt
  • No fuel surcharge, no “heavy item” labor fee, and no service premium added afterward

The only possible addition is a disclosed surcharge for certain specialty or county-regulated items—and that’s shown at booking, not sprung on you once a truck is in the driveway. Full detail is on the pricing page.

Traditional Quotes vs. EasyGig's Flat Rate

Traditional on-site quote EasyGig flat rate
When you learn the price After a crew arrives and looks at the job Before you book, online
Can it change once work starts Often, yes No—fixed per load
What it's based on The crew's on-the-spot judgment One truckload-size rate
Add-on fees Sometimes disclosed only after the fact Disclosed at booking, only for regulated items

Why Is a Flat Rate More Fair?

A number that’s set before anyone shows up removes the room for negotiation—and negotiation is exactly where variable pricing tends to go wrong, whether that’s a cash discount offered on the spot or a customer who isn’t in a position to push back once a crew has already unloaded half a truck. With EasyGig, every customer sees the same $150-per-load rate regardless of who’s booking, which hauler is dispatched, or how the conversation on the driveway might have gone otherwise.

What If I Need More Than One Truckload?

You book additional truckloads at the same flat rate—two loads is $150 twice, not a negotiated bulk number. There’s no discount and no markup for a second load; it’s priced exactly the same way as the first. See how it works for the full booking-to-pickup flow.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does EasyGig ever charge more once the hauler arrives? No. As long as the job matches what you booked—a standard truckload from curbside, driveway, or an accessible garage—the $150 rate is fixed.

Is there a discount for a partial load? No. The rate is $150 per load whether it’s completely full or only half full.

What could actually add to my price? Only a disclosed surcharge for certain specialty or county-regulated items, and you’ll see that at booking—never after the fact.

How is this different from getting a “quote”? EasyGig doesn’t do quotes at all—there’s no on-site estimate step. The flat rate shown at booking is the real price from the start.

Does tipping change the price? No. Tipping is separate and optional; it’s never part of the $150 flat rate.

EasyGig's typical truck bed size is 5.5 ft by 4ft.

If a driver arrives and cannot fit all items within the specified number of truckloads, they will ask for authorization before taking an additional truckload.
