About EasyGig & How Our Platform Works

EasyGig is a junk removal platform that connects homeowners with trusted, background-checked local haulers. Customers book online, jobs are sent to the EasyGig hauler app, and nearby haulers can accept and complete pickups quickly, often the same day.

Both! EasyGig doesn’t own a fleet of trucks or employ crews directly; we operate as a marketplace that matches homeowners with independent local haulers in their area. That structure is what lets us offer flat-rate pricing, fast booking, and same-day availability.

Traditional junk removal usually means phone calls, in-home estimates, and waiting for a quote. With EasyGig Junk Removal, you book online, see your flat-rate price upfront, and get matched instantly with a local hauler. No estimate visit required!

EasyGig currently serves areas of  North Carolina and South Carolina. See the full list of service areas →

    Diving Deeper Into The Process

Visit our booking page, enter your pickup details, items, location, and preferred time, and we’ll match you with a trusted local hauler. Booking takes minutes, or less.

*Certain specialty items may affect price, but you’ll always know the total upfront.

Yes! EasyGig offers same-day pickup windows, so a same-day decision doesn’t turn into a next-day wait.

Nope, and many customers prefer it that way! Just leave your items in the agreed spot (driveway, curb, or garage), and we’ll text you updates as your hauler is matched, on the way, and finished. One less thing to coordinate around your schedule.

Yes. Every EasyGig hauler is carefully vetted and must pass a background check before being approved to accept pickups, so you can book with confidence.

EasyGig accepts a wide range of items, including bulky household items, furniture, appliances, mattresses, electronics, yard waste, and general clutter, as long as it fits in a standard pickup truck bed.

Of course! If your items are in good, usable condition, we can redirect them to a local donation center instead of disposal, often with same-day pickup. Learn about donation pickups →

    Thinking About Becoming A Hauler?

Apply through our Become a Hauler page, pass a background check through Checkr, and you’re ready to start picking up hauls on your own schedule. Apply here →

Haulers are paid per truckload completed, not by the hour, so earnings scale with how many jobs you take on. See current pay details →

Payouts are processed through Stripe and sent weekly. Dump fee reimbursements are processed daily once a valid disposal receipt is uploaded and approved.

A standard pickup truck is the only equipment required. Trailers aren’t currently permitted, which keeps load sizing and pricing consistent for customers.

Whatever you need it to be! EasyGig haulers set their own schedules and pick the jobs that fit their week: mornings, nights, weekends, or all of the above.
