Prohibited Items
Certain items are not eligible for Hauling Services, including the items set forth below (the “Prohibited Items”). Possessors agree (a) not to use the Platform to request Hauling Services for the Prohibited Items, and (b) that Haulers have the right to refuse to transport Prohibited Items, as well as any other goods that the Hauler reasonably believes cannot be safely or legally transported, or transported without excessive expense. If a Hauler refuses to complete Hauling Services under the preceding sentence, the transaction will be treated as a [Possessor No-Show] under the EasyGig Cancellation Policy unless otherwise agreed in EasyGig’s sole discretion.
Prohibited Items include (but are not limited to) the following items:
- Items located inside Possessor’s home or not reasonably accessible to Hauler or Hauler’s vehicle (all items must be located outside on Possessor’s driveaway or in an open garage when Hauler arrives)
- Paint
- Dirt/Roots
- Gasoline
- Batteries
- Chemicals
- Explosives
- Firearms and Ammunition
- Radioactive Items
- Food Waste
- Medical Waste
- Biological Materials (including animal carcasses)
- Fluorescent Lightbulbs
- Human and Animal Waste (including feces)
- Any other items that cannot lawfully be transported or that require a special permit to be transported
EASYGIG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO UPDATE THIS LIST AT ANY TIME, WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE, IN ITS SOLE AND ABSOLUTE DISCRETION.
Unless otherwise noted, the following items are accepted and may be included in your haul:
- Aluminum
- Appliances (dishwashers, microwaves, etc.)
- Cardboard
- Clothing and Shoes
- TVs
- Electronics
- Foam (white rigid)
- Furniture
- Garbage (excludes Prohibited Items and must be bagged)
- Glass
- Mattresses/Box Springs
- Plastics
- Scrap Metal
- Shingles
- Tires
- Toilets
- Cabinets
- Wood
- Yard Waste (must be bagged)
Note that some of the above items may be subject to additional fees, and a Hauler may nevertheless refuse to transport items if the Possessor failed to accurately disclose or describe the items when ordering the Hauling Services or if the Hauler reasonably believes such items cannot be safely or legally transported, or transported without excessive expense.
