Hauler FAQ

Answering your most frequently asked questions about the app, on the job, and more!

What do I do if....

  1. Message the customer through the app.
  2. Knock on the door to see if customer is present. (Sometimes a garage door just needs to be opened).
  3. Wait a few minutes for a response.

If the customer cannot be reached or the items are not accessible, raise an issue within the haul and our support team will review the situation.

EasyGig charges customers based on the number of truckloads required. If all items will not fit in the booked truckload(s):
  1. Load as much as safely fits in your truck.
  2. Raise an issue within the haul.
  3. Take clear photos of any remaining items.

The customer will be notified that their items exceeded one pickup truckload and will have the option to book another haul.

If the designated facility is closed:

  1. Securely hold the items until the facility reopens.
  2. Dispose of or donate the items at the designated location when it becomes available.
  3. Upload your receipt in the app to receive reimbursement and complete payout for the haul.

Do not illegally dump or abandon items under any circumstances.

Diving Deeper Into The App

Hauls are first come, first served. Notifications go out to every hauler in the area at once, and whoever accepts first gets the job. If you see a notification but nothing in the app, another hauler already claimed it.

Once you accept a haul, a chat becomes available between you and the customer. You can find this in the haul details.

To drop a haul, tap the Drop this haul button at the bottom of the Haul Details screen. You may drop a haul without a fee within 10 minutes of accepting it. After that, a fee will apply if the haul is dropped less than 24 hours before the scheduled start time.

Let's talk about payments

Truckload Size

EasyGig's typical truck bed size is 5.5 ft by 4ft.

If a driver arrives and cannot fit all items within the specified number of truckloads, they will ask for authorization before taking an additional truckload.
